Lou Kiewicz is a French painter and performer. Based in Paris, Kiewicz is an activist of the "Art en Grève" movement born during the Yellow Vest movement, fighting for better working conditions, recognition, and social protection in the French artistic field.
Kiewicz is self-taught in painting and sculpture, and she is pursuing master's degrees in art philosophy and theater studies. Her work revolves around "fragmentation of one's body and the relationship between a figure and the space it inhabits". Influenced by the Surrealists, she uses collage techniques mixed to traditional oil painting to recreate female bodies, and genderless screaming figures.
EMILY SHIH
Emily Shih is an acrylic and watercolor painter living in Taiwan. She creates artwork inspired by nature's beauty using rich and vivid blocks of color, translating the real world into a "bright and splendid world of her own".
Shih says that for her, "art is about falling in love with something, it’s about the feelings it conjures up inside you. I want to use my work to heal people's hearts. I want for people to look at my artworks and feel the same thing that I do- peaceful, happiness, joy and always believing in something good."
Shih's artwork has been featured internationally, including exhibitions in Taiwan, New York, South Korea, South America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
